Star Trek Legacy Minimates beaming in to stores

DST has a series of Minimates ready for Trek fans of every age with a series that celebrates the Legacy of one of the famed and long running sci-fi franchise.

I’ve been waiting for a long time to get my hands on this series of Minimates and it looks like DST is poised to not disappoint . The original Enterprise will ship in several different flavors with standard, Tribble’d up, and Mirror Universe versions all set to leave spacedock along with a gaggle of figures that represent pretty much the complete history of the television and film versions of the property.

Here’s the official breakdown of what fans can expect to see at Toys R Us and specialty stores next month:

At comic shops and specialty stores, both movies and TV shows will get figures:

– Admiral Kirk & Khan (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)

– Captain Picard & Borg Queen (Star Trek: First Contact)

– Captain Sisko & Jem Hadar (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)

– Captain Archer & Xindi (Star Trek: Enterprise)

Then, at Toys “R” Us and toysrus.com, the scope expands with four exclusive pairings:

– Captain Kirk & Kahn (gold shirt) (Star Trek: The Original Series)

– Captain Picard (captain’s jacket) & Hugh (Star Trek: The Next Generation)

– Captain Sisko (vest) & Gul Dukat (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)

– Captain Janeway & Seven of Nine (Star Trek: Voyager)

So that’s the figure breakdown; as for the Enterprise(s), those will see some limited availability as well. The ‘Trouble with Tribbles’ Enterprise comes with a variant green shirt Kirk and a pile of Tribbles while the standard version of the ship will include just the good Captain all by his lonesome.

The Mirror, Mirror Enterprise is a little different than both of the above ships as it will include another variant Kirk and the ‘ISS Enterprise’ branding to reflect the alternate timeline. The Mirror Enterprise will also only be available at Action Figure Xpress and Entertainment Earth -both online retailers- so plan accordingly Trekkers.

Prepare to beam up – all this Trekkie goodness comes to stores and online retailers next month from DST.
