With Bungie’s next big first-person shooter on the way on September 9th, it’s the perfect time for first-person shooter fans to reflect on the genre’s history.

Destiny is almost here, so of course Activison and developer Bungie have released an all new trailer showing off plenty more gameplay, and more than a few accolades.

So here goes….Let’s review the scariest demo I’ve ever played, or anyone I know has played, and quite possibly, ever made. (Spoiler Alert!!!)

Ultra-hard space-shooting action so good, you’ll keep coming back despite the urge to chuck your keyboard across the room.

Like getting a new controller without getting a new controller.

Grab a spare pair of pants, F.E.A.R. is back.

Take one part Portal, one part Cthulhu, add magnets and shake vigorously.

Bungie’s next big thing will be making the jump to the PS4 and the developer gave fans a a little bit of a closer look at the connected FPS in a just released video presentation (gameplay!).
