What does the fox say?

It’s going to be a busy few months for Nintendo fans.

As Nintendo Directs go, this was a pretty packed one.

The Nintendo Download is still looking a bit sparse since the Holiday rush, but there are a few decent choices this week, if you’re so inclined.

And now, our obligatory look back at our favorite gaming memories and our thoughts on the biggest gaming stories of 2014.

There’s a Bionic Commando in this week’s Nintendo Download, but it’s not the one you’re thinking of.

Apparently, 2014 was not the best 12 month period for good original games. Well, not according to Metacritic anyway.

Do you like anime? Hooked on a particular series of awesomely animated action form the far east? Then you might be pleasantly surprised to see that video-provider Crunchroll is now available on the Nintendo Wii U.

The designs used in characters and now traps for Activision and Toys for Bob’s Skylanders series have been more or less a static thing, with no changes since the first game hit shelves. Well, not anymore.

Oh my lord is this game hard. Mega Man Zero on the GameBoy (now on the Virtual Console) is the opposite of a pushover. If that’s too nail-chewingly tough for you, perhaps you’re more in the mood for a little old school grappling?

It’ll probably be big in very sense of the word, but the Wii U’s first real Legend of Zelda title will be a physically huge game that dwarfs what’s come before.

Ho, ho, ho! It’s time to give (and get) the very best once again and we’ve got a full selection of the greatest games, toys, books and more for you to tear into on whatever day of giving you and yours celebrate around December time.

We already know that the Xbox One is doing quite well for itself this Holiday Season, but it actually looks like the Nintendo Wii U is putting up Holiday as well.

Because what’s the Holidays without some singing broccoli?

The symbiotic nemesis of Spider-Man is oozing all over Marvel Pinball this week, on just about every platform under the sun.

Get ’em while you can, some Amiibo won’t be back at retail ever again once they’re sold out.
