Did you forget that Watch_Dogs is still once way to the Nintendo Wii U? Ubisoft didn’t, and they’ve got an announcement that might make would-be vigilante hackers a little happier about it.
It’s been pretty common knowledge for a while that Ubisoft was sort of… ‘over’ the Wii U when it comes to Mature-rated games. If fact, company reps have gone on record with their feelings and have made it pretty clear that this upcoming release of Watch_Dogs will be the final mature title that they’ll be releasing for the console. Well, for a while anyway.
They also detailed the downloadable content situation for the game, pretty much saying that there wouldn’t be any. Now though, it looks like that’s not entirely true.
The ‘Bad Blood’ DLC still isn’t coming anytime soon, but the Access Granted and Watch Dogs: Conspiracy packs are. The DLC offers missions, skins, and other perks for Watch_Dogs gamers that aren’t found in the base game. They don’t quite offer the beefy expansion that Bad Blood does, but they’re definitely better than nothing and show that Ubi is set to support the game to some degree after launch.
Speaking of, Watch_Dogs arrives on the console today.
