Berkeley Breathed’s classic is back
Okay, full discosure, I think Berkley Breathed’s classic has been back for a while. You know, since this is the third collection of the newest Bloom County stuff and all. But honestly, it’s new to me so chances are that it’s new to a good amount of you fine folks too.
And if that’s the case, then you’re probably as excited as I am at the proposition of picking up not one, not two, but three “new” Bloom County collections. That’s a lot of quality reading right there. And laughing. Probably plenty of that too.
But let’s get back to the Shenaniganary at hand- Bloom County: Shenaniganary that is.
The new volume picks up right from where volume 2 left off. And there’ll allegedly be plenty of “Opus, Bill the Cat, and all their friends” for fans to dive into.
The residents of Bloom County are back to put their trademark tragi-comic spin on the horrors of the previous year, so lock all your worries in the anxiety closet for a bit. Who knows? When you come back they may be just the tiniest bit funnier. The stakes are higher, the punchlines are sharper, and the laughter is more desperate!
Are you excited? I’m excited. I’m also ready to put that excitement in a box and sit on it for a while. That’s because Bloom County: Shenaniganary won’t be hitting retail till September.
