Following on the heels of Hyrule Historia, a book that still wildly popular years after release, comes The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts.
Think they’ll cover all that lovely pottery?
If you’re a Legend of Zelda fan, then you probably already know all about Hyrule Historia. The book is basically a must have if you’ve Nintendo’s fantasy game series after all. It’s not just a great art book, but a tome that covers the ‘timeline’ of the land of Hyrule. That’s something that was always thought to be an impossibility, since the games seemingly don’t link (punny!) together, but Hyrule Historia crafted a solid timeline for fans to dig into. Honestly, no small feat.
And now comes The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts.
Over 400 pages in total, Art & Artifacts will be absolutely loaded with “fully realized artistic masterpieces, exclusive interviews with the design team behind the beloved video game franchise, the official pixel art of the early series, and rare promotional art never before published in this format.” Add to that peeks as stuff from Breath of the Wild, the upcoming Zelda adventure for the Wii U and NX, and you’ve got a book that you don’t want to miss out on.
Available right now via Amazon and Penguin Random House, The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts will hit bookstores and online shops this coming February the 21st.
