Did you know that eSports is getting its own gaming controller? Veteran peripheral maker Nacon just introduced the world’s first eSports ready gamepad…
Now, for the most part, gaming controllers have always been pretty straight forward. A D-pad or two for momentum, and the typical A,B,X,Y (or Circle, Square, Triangle, X) buttons. The last generation of consoles brought bumpers to the mainstream. Though like computer mice, they have been pretty ‘standard’.
The Alpha Pad was designed in cooperation with the help of world champion pro-gamer Norman “GEN1US” Chatrier and the French eSports Academy, so you can bet that the controller has been put to the test by the best!
The Alpha Pad has been created to offer the comfort, analog movement and portability of a gamepad, the precision of a mouse and the customisability of a keyboard.
Customizable profiles, additional buttons (not pictured here), and even contains weights in the handle to maximize comfort. Nacon is crowdfunding the Alpha Pad. You can contribute on indiegogo.
