Nintendo Download: Sand in the Hourglass

The latest Prince of Persia revamp makes its arrival in this week’s Download, along with a small selection of additional titles.

So, you like sand?

Certainly a classic name in the annals of video-gamedom, Prince of Persia has been around for a long, long time. The property has had some pretty incredible incarnations throughout those decades too, including the iconic Sands of Time trilogy. This new version though, seems to have nothing to do with any of the various titles we’ve seen before.

That’s not to say it won’t be familiar to fans though, as Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an action platformer set in a world repeat with mystical Persian themes. That could honestly sum up almost any PoP title, so if you like what you’ve seen before from the brand, you might want to check this new release out.

Now, past that, we’re pretty much back in the desert of gaming that we saw earlier this month. There is Dead by Daylight – Gold Edition, and Legend of Grimrock releases too, but the overall list is somewhat lacking. Nevertheless, there’s always the chance that there might be something you find interesting.
