Five minutes of gameplay have been released for fantasy action title The Relic, which also now touts a publisher in Perp Games.
Looking good for being so early
You might not be familiar with the name “The Relic: The First Guardian”, but you might want to get comfy with it nonetheless. Set in the fantasy realm of Arsiltus, The Relic’s is essentially a post-apocalyptic tale that follows players as they try to bring the world back from certain oblivion at the hands of demonic forces.
Developer Project Cloud Games looks to be doing a pretty terrific job with it too, as the title is looking awesome in this first extended look at gameplay. Of course, that’s not the only news today for the title, but before we get to that, take a look at this:
In this action RPG, you embark on a heroic adventure to save the world in the dark as the last guardian. The once-prosperous Arsiltus was swallowed up by the void created by the destruction of the great relic and transformed into the land of death. Now your mission is to find the pieces of the broken great relic and close the void.
This game provides in-depth gameplay with a thrilling battle and a variety of rune settings. Grow your character with various skills and your own settings, and explore the collapsed world while following an exciting story. You need to solve the riddle of Arsiltus, gather the pieces of great relic, and lead the world back to prosperity. You are the last hope of the Arsiltus. Start your journey as a guardian, gather pieces of great relic and close the void. Your adventure will bring Arsiltus into a new era.
Perp Games press release
Check it out? Digging it? Well if you are, and we’re in that camp too, then you’ve got a bit of a wait. The Relic is still relatively early in development, and actually won’t see release til 2025. Getting it to retail will be publisher Perp Games, who’ve just signed with Cloud Project and will serve as the game’s publisher.
There’s a tad more news though, as you can see at the close of the trailer, as there’s a survey. This one might very well be worth your time too, as Perp would like to know what gamers would actually like to see in terms of the title’s marketing. Yes, really. And to reward those who partake, the publisher will be doling out 15% off vouchers for its online shop as ‘thank you’s’.
