Marrok set to join Hot Toys’ Star Wars: Ahsoka lineup

A former Imperial Inquisitor who had quite a bit of mystery surrounding him, Star Wars: Ahsoka’s Marrok is coming to Hot Toys’ line.

Who is… oh

If you missed the deluge of guessing as to who Marrok was under his armor, then just know that this Imperial Inquisitor-turned-mercenary was quite the topic for a few weeks. Fans were debating his true identity, since modern Star Wars has a habit of bringing classic and Expanded Universe characters into the current canon in new ways.

Marrok was even thought to be Kanan Jarrus, one of the stars of Rebels, for a time. But as you’ve no doubt surmised by now, he wasn’t anyone that anybody would know. Serving the Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth, Marrok’s true identity was never actually revealed, though we did learn that he was actually some kind of mist-like being, encased in armor to give him physical form. Though said armor made Marrok look male, ‘he’ could have been female, or neither. But whatever Marrok’s origin actually was, he’s on the way to Hot Toys’ high-end collector series.

Hot Toys is continuing their highly anticipated Star Wars: Ahsoka collection with a stunning Marrok 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure

The Marrok 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure features a new, superbly detailed body with over 30 points of articulation. The figure is dressed in finely crafted armor that has been expertly painted with weathered effects, a tailored undersuit, and a cape with embedded wire to allow for dramatic poses.

Ready for battle, Marrok comes with a USB powered light-up double-bladed lightsaber and a USB powered light-up semi-circular lightsaber hilt. A circular hilt, a semi-circular hilt, and a blades-in-motion effect are also included. Collectors can recreate a variety of poses with an array of interchangeable hands, including a swap-out left gauntlet with a communicator.
