The world of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is massive, and so’s the exploration of it’s art that Dark Horse has planned for next spring.
Art takes time
Presumably Dark Horse Books would’ve loved to have had “The Art of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” in stores for the game launch. Typically that is the case, as the publisher likes to have artistic explorations hitting retail right around that subject’s launch time. We’ve seen a few delayed releases lately though, and that will hold true for the release of this very title as well.
Developed by Insomniac and exclusive to the PS5 (for now, though it’ll likely come to PC eventually), Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 teams Peter and Miles for a run through a mostly new set of villains, in a tale that brings the symbiote into Spidey’s life. And we all know what has to come after that… or should we say ‘who’?
Digging into this adventure, in terms of the looks and overall design, will be the aforementioned Dark Horse. The comic and art book company will be bringing the video game world to life on the printed page, and it’ll be doing in in April of 2024.

The Art of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will arrive in stores with a pair of editions, both basic and Deluxe. s you can see in the image above, the Deluxe will be loaded up with the same book as the base version, but also include “an exclusive cover, a decorative slipcase, and a folio enclosing a gallery quality print.”
Both editions will be in bookstores on April 16th, 2024, with comic shops getting them the next day. Pre-orders are open now, via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and your local comic shop and bookstore. The Art of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is priced in at $49.99 USD, with the Deluxe version tagged at $99.99.
