Horror adventure Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness enters the big top next month

Those looking to add more terror (and retro vibes) to their Halloween might want to have a look at Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness.

A clown as the… hero?

We’re not really sure if we’d call “Lazy Ollie” a hero, but the main character of Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness is definitely not the villain. Probably. But even though he lacks ill-intent, that doesn’t mean that professional clown Oliver Mills isn’t just a touch unwell anyway.

That much is obvious, as the former performer is returning to the site of the title attraction to attempt to reconnect with lost friends and recover some of his sanity. What caused that mental stress? Maybe it’s the hundreds of innocent circus-goers that died in a fire that he survived?

Explore the eerie halls of the Victorian-inspired Petrescu Manor as Oliver Mills, better known as his clown persona “Lazy Ollie.” Several years in the Pennhurst Asylum have proved ineffective in restoring his memories, but reconnecting with old friends and a lost love may do the trick. Unease festers in Ollie as he explores the shadowy estate, unaware of the sinister secret dying to be set free.

Blowfish Studios press release

Prepare yourself for pixel terror aplenty, as Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness hits the PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms, and the Nintendo Switch on October 17th.
