NetherRealm reveals Mortal Kombat 1’s Reptile, Havik, and Ashrah

A trio of new Mortal Kombat 1 faces made their debuts at Evo yesterday, including a fan favorite return with the shapeshifting Reptile.

Best of both worlds

NetherRealm has really given good old Reptile a makeover for MK1. Not only do fans get a fresh riff on the classic ‘green ninja’ outfit, but the character’s full lizard-like form is included too. He’s also pretty clearly a good guy this time around, and has brought a pair of additional reveals as well.

The developer showed off both Havik, making his gruesome arrival from the Mortal Kombat Deception days, and demon-turned-hero Ashrah.

Along with the three reveals, you can also get a good look at a few of the Kameos in NetherRealm’s post on X. The video shows quite a bit of fan(non)favorite Stryker’s tag team moves, plus a bit of cyber-ninja Cyrax for good measure. And of course, the trailer also continues the showcasing of just how fantastic MK1 is looking.

Whether you’re planning to play on the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, or PC, or will be looking to take a little MK1 action with you on the Switch, Mortal Kombat 1 lands next month, on September 19th.
