Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Electro set to light up Hot Toys collections

Continuing its MCU collection, Hot Toys has dug into Spider-Man: No Way Home’s catalog of villains once again, this time for Jamie Fox’ Electro.

A little more true to form

Yet another high point from Spider-Man: No Way Home, actor Jamie Fox’ Electro got pretty dang close to the comic book version. Before the 2021 film, this particular vision of the character didn’t look a heck of a lot like his classic Spidey comic incarnation.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe took care of that though. Fox’ version of the villain took on a look that mimicked the unique headwear of Max Dillon at long last. And more than just that, it also vastly improved the character and brought his story to a suitable close.

Now that version of Electro is getting the Hot Toys treatment, with all the electrical trimmings, and Fox’ likeness too.

This stunning new Electro 1/6 Scale Figure is inspired by Max Dillon’s appearance in the blockbuster movie. The figure features a newly developed hand-painted head sculpt, an ultra-detailed movie accurate recreation of his outfit, and a wealth of accessories including lightning effects and his star-shaped mask.

Sideshow Toys press release

Electro is priced at $285 USD, and is scheduled to ship out in the second half of 2023. If you’re lit up by the idea of more Spider-Man: No Way Home figures though, you can check out Hot Toys other offerings, which are all coming up. That includes Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man himself.
