The Capcom Fighting Collection ties together 10 classic fighters (and lots of Darkstalkers)

Along with the announcement of Street Fighter 6, Capcom has revealed a brand new collected edition. The Capcom Fighting Collection hits this June.

They’re back

There are a few great fighting games packaged within the Capcom Fighting Collection. It’s got Puzzle Fighter, Red Earth, Cyberbots, Hyper Street Fighter II (was that a thing?)… and a whole mess of Darkstalkers.

I’d imagine that last part would be the biggest draw here, as we’ve gotten plenty of SFII over the years, and the other games in the set are niche at best. Darkstalkers though, seems to always get the short end of the joystick, even though it’s a pretty popular series.

And if you’re a fan, you’re gonna want to check this title out, as it’s packed with 5 installments of the classic monster-fueled fighter.

Capcom Fighting Collection unites all five Darkstalkers games for the first time outside of Japan, including Darkstalkers™: The Night WarriorsNight Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge™Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire™, and previously Japan-only titles Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge™ and Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire™. The anthology also features the first release of Red Earth™ outside arcades and is joined by fan favorites Hyper Street Fighter™ II: The Anniversary EditionSuper Puzzle Fighter™ II Turbo, Super Gem Fighter™ Mini Mix, and Cyberbots™: Fullmetal Madness. These classics rank among the most acclaimed fighting games to appear in arcades and introduced the world to many iconic and beloved characters ranging from Chun-Li to Morrigan Aensland.
