October’s Xbox Games with Gold scares up some horror classics

There are some newish games included in this month’s Xbox Games with Gold, but it’s the older ones that are far better… and spookier.

That’s probably more Goldmember than ‘scary ghost noise’, but I’m leaving it. And anyway, who cares what I wrote as the subtitle, since it’s the newly available freebies that you wanna check out.

And this month, they’re actually pretty cook. Now, we’re not talking about the latest stuff here, since Gold really doesn’t do that much anymore, but it’s somewhat timely, and that’s shockingly uncommon.

Usually for Halloween, we get games that have nothing to do with horror. But again, not this month, since we get both Castlevania: Harmony of Despair and the rarely seen (or talked about) Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.

But for those out there who don’t want scares and monsters, there’s also the likes of Aero and Hover. Both of those are futuristic action titles.

Overall, the month looks a little something like this:
