Hasbro’s Captain America shield replica heading back to stores

If you missed out on Captain America’s shield from Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line of replicas, then you’re in luck. There’s one on the way.

Raise the shield

Now, this isn’t Steve Rogers shield. Remember that he gave up the mantle of Captain America in Endgame, choosing to remain in the past and live out his life with Peggy. What’s that? The super-soldier serum would have still kept him relatively young even with all that time passing? No, forget that, this is the MCU not the comics. Rules are different.

So with that in mind, this is a different Cap’s shield. Technically this is the one that will be featured in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the new show hitting Disney+ some time soon. In that show, it’ll be brandished by Falcon, as he picks up the guise of Captain America (that much is like the comics).

Still though, Cap’s shield is Cap’s shield. And this one looks like it could suit any Captain America fan. I imagine that it’d look pretty snazzy on the wall, or as a part of a costume.

Just keep in mind that this is the plastic version of the shield. It’s not a re-issue of the metal version, though that wasn’t vibranium either, so it’s not like you’re loosing too much. And hey, it’s just $119.00 USD, which would definitely not be the case if it was that metal edition.

The shield is up for sale pre-right now, and is scheduled to start shipping in January 2021. You can order up from our pals at Entertainment Earth by clicking here. Just be aware that, if you do order from them, that BG will receive a small commission from your purchase.
