“The Gig” is the title of the latest trailer for CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, which just got nudged back yet again, this time to November.
Here’s Johnny
Is there a gamer out there who doesn’t know all about Cyberpunk 2077 by now? The game, based on a tabletop role-player of the same name (kind of), has been years in the making, and seems to be the most impressive title yet from CD Projekt Red. And since that’s the studio that produced The Witcher games, that’s really saying something.
CP77 is a first-person shooter/RPG, and it’s one that’s quite frankly stunning in both scope and visual presentation. It’s also one of the first games announced that will take advantage of the leap from the current generation of consoles to the next. CP77 will be fully playable on the Xbox Series X and the PS5, complete with an upgrade option for those who buy-in to the Xbox One and PS4 versions.
The latest trailer for the game shows off more of the gameplay, including a mission. And it’s there that we get a very unexpected cameo from one of the title’s more mysterious figures, Johnny Silverhand. As you might know, he’s played by one Keanu Reeves.
So? That make the wait a little harder? Yeah, pretty much. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to debut on November 19th, 2020.
