Though it might not seem like it, summer is coming. Among all of the other things that entails, it also means Udon’s Street Fighter Swimsuit Special.
Suit up… for the beach
Or actually, maybe I should say ‘suit up for a wedding’ since that’s what some of these alt covers clearly convey. Either way though, we’re talking Udon’s Street Fighter Swimsuit Special.
The publisher has announced that the annual issue of world warriors, sun, and sand is indeed returning in 2020. But as mentioned, while the book is packed with swimwear, there will be a pair of online exclusive covers starring Ryu and Cammy in some ever-so-slightly revealing wedding-wear.
Fans will remember that this isn’t the first time that Udon has done matrimonial-variants. Last year’s swimsuit issue cover featured Chun-Li in a similarly themed getup. As for this year’s, Cammy Bride comes from artist Rob “Robaato” Porter, while Groom Ryu has been illustrated by Absolum. And as you can see in the gallery above, there will be two versions of the cover, with Evil Ryu and Shadaloo Cammy.
