Toy Fair 20: Mezco’s Marvel, DC, and horror highlights

Mezco had some great reveals at Toy Fair this past weekend, including Marvel, DC and more in their One:12 Collective, and their new 5 Points line.

The One:12 returns

Mezco’s One:12 Collective was rocking at Toy Fair, with a bunch of new additions. These weren’t all superheroes and villains though, as we saw some fresh horror icons too.

Those came mainly in the form of the stunning Predator and Alien figures. If you’re a fan of either, you’re not going to want to miss these.

Other one-off figures included Planet of the Apes, Conan, John Wick, Nightmare on Elm Street and more. That’s all on top of some of Mezco’s own stuff, which is cool in its own right. Check them all out in the gallery below.

Bring on the good guys, and the bad guys too

As you can see though, the meat and potatoes of the line is still all things comics. And wow were there some awesome sights to see. That includes the incredible Ghost Rider and bike, which just seem to keep looking better and better every time I see them.

Other highlights include Bat-villains like Two-Face, Harley Quinn, KGBeast, and Mr. Freeze, as well as Captain Marvel and Thanos (among others).

5 Points arrives

Classicly-styled, retro action figures are kind of all the rage now. That goes for the Masters of the Universe type figures, and the 80s (and kind of 90s) Kenner Star Wars figures. Of course, you know already that Super7 has a bunch of lines like this in its ReAction line, but now Mezco does as well.

Mezco’s line is called 5 Points, for the form-factor’s 5 points of articulation, and features the iconic 60s Batman, some classic cartoon characters, and Mezco’s own creations. The figures look great, and are packed on equally cool looking blister cards.

Centerpieces

And finally, Mezco’s booth was outfitted with a few impressive centerpiece style displays. We’ve got shots here of the comic-themed ones, both Marvel and DC. There’s nothing new included here, but they’re kind of cool and we thought you’d enjoy.
