PlayStation Plus rolls into February with a trio of free subscriber games, more if you count BioShock: The Collection as a trio all by itself.
Shocking
PlayStation 4 gamers should be getting used to the more scaled back PS+ freebies by now. The paid subscription service allows for online gaming on the PS4, and used to offer PS3 and Vita games as well as PS4 titles.
That ended last year, with the focus shifting (probably rightly) onto the PS4 alone. Thing is, the wealth of games went with it. Instead of keeping up the number of freebies (for subscribers), Sony rolled it back to just a pair of PS4 games per month. That’s not bad really, but it’s not as great of a value as it was. No other way to slice that.
This coming month though, is an exception. Sony is set to deliver a there pack of BioShock games with BioShock: The Collection, as well as The Sims 4, and a bonus title in Firewall Zero Hour. So if you’re counting all the inclusions separately, then you’re getting 5 games in February, which is actually pretty great.
The games will be available to download from February 4th through March 2nd, when the next volley of freebies will begin. Till then, you can always grab January’s games if you haven’t yet and you’re looking to play something.
Here’s the full story on what’s free to download for PSPlusers:
