Spyro Reignited Trilogy shows off its upgraded visuals in new launch trailer

Even if you’re not a Spyro fan, you might find it hard to resist the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Spyro’s games always looked good, now they look amazing.

Fired up

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Spyro in a solo title. Sure he’s been a staple part of Activision’s Skylanders series, but we’ve gotten nothing in the way of solo titles. While we’re still technically not getting that, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is pretty close.

Much like the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy that saw release a few years ago, Reignited features the first three games in the classic series. So these are the Spyro titles that started the series off. Basically, the ones that everyone liked.

Those being:

  • Spyro the Dragon
  • Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!
  • Spyro: Year of the Dragon

Of course, these three inclusions in Reignited look a heck of a lot better than the originals did. To me anyway, they look almost cartoon level in quality. Maybe even better than Crash’s remakes. I’m not a fan of the series either, but these look so pretty I’m finding it tough to resist picking this set up.

If that describes you too (or if you’re just a real big fan), then you’ll be happy to know that the magical launch day is coming up fast. Spyro Reignited Trilogy lands at retail on November 13th.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
