Nintendo unveils new Diablo III Switch bundle for the holidays

Withe one bundle already announced, Nintendo has taken the wraps off of another that’s heading to stores. This one playing off of Diablo III.

Evil is in its prime

There’s little doubt that Diablo III on the Switch is a big game. Not only does it mean that the hugely successful Blizzard aRPG is coming to a new platform, but it’s also another Mature feather in Nintendo’s cap. That’s an audience that the company still needs to capitalize on as much as it can. So even though it’s a slightly older game, this is still big deal.

And you can see that thought in action since Nintendo is bundling the title with the Switch for its Holiday retail assault. Just announced today, the Diablo bundle will include the console and the game, but also a few more choice goodies.

In the box will be:

• Nintendo Switch system
• Dock featuring Diablo III artwork
• Download code for the Diablo III: Eternal Collection game
• Themed carrying case

Yes, it’s a little bit of a bummer that you get a download code and not the game on a cart, but this is still a pretty good deal. All of the above will run you $349.99 USD. That means you;re effectively buying the game and the console and getting the case for free. Not to mention the special edition dock that’s included. Not bad.
