Call of Duty: WWII starts its Resistance event tomorrow

The French resistance takes it to the Reich in the latest Call of Duty: WWII event. The action starts tomorrow, but you can get a sneak peek with the trailer today.

The Resistance strikes

Call of Duty: WWII was one of the nicer surprises of 2017. Not only did the game return Call of Duty to its World War 2 roots, but it was also pretty good. Part of that was the single player campaign, which was actually quite compelling, even with some issues here and there. The other part? The multiplayer of course.

Call of Duty’s multiplayer is almost always a crowd-pleaser, and WWII is looking to continue that into the new year with The Resistance. This fresh content pack includes “the new Resistance Division, more free weapons, the return of Demolition, all-new Resistance gear, 2XP playlists, and more.”

So it’s a pretty chunky pack, and one that explores a faction previously left out of pretty much every game about World War II. Cool stuff. Oh, and it’s playable for free, as a limited time, in-game event.

It will start tomorrow too, so you can dive right in if you’ve been waiting for more of what WWII has. As to when this free look ends, well you’ve got some time to play it. February 27th is the end date, which gives you a very generous month’s time to try before you buy.
