Call of Duty: WWII is right around the corner, and Activision has produced a pretty cool little documentary that pays homage to the real thing.
World War II was one of the most destructive wars of all time.
It’s story was a complex one, and saw a stunning amount of cooperation. The globe united to take down a set of common foes, bent on no less than total domination. Both fronts were brutal, though at the conflict’s heart was the fight in Europe.
When the US got into the war, and combined with the rest of the Allies, they pushed through to Germany. That push is the center of the forthcoming Call of Duty: WWII. And today, Activision has released a look back, and a peek at how the game ties into the real thing.
After taking a year off of CoD, I’m thinking I’m back in as of WWII. The game looks great in terms of graphics, but also in respect to the story. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but it actually looks like Call of Duty might have a quality narrative behind it here. And I have to admit, I like the amount of attention to detail and care that they seem to be taking with the subject matter.
We’ll see, and we’ll see soon. Call of Duty: WWII is set to make landfall on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 3rd.
