Gunfighting, incredible special effects, and a haunting feel highlight the second full trailer for Paramount Pictures’ Ghost in the Shell.

Well once again I’m shocked at how great Ghost in the Shell is looking. I mean- wow does this look amazing. And this is coming from a guy who isn’t a fan at all of the original. Heck I don’t even really like anime at all. But I do like cyberpunk, and in that way Ghost looks pretty freaking great.
I can’t say I know much about the story playing out here, as again, I’m not a fan. I saw it once, decades ago, and that was it. Honestly, it didn’t stick in my mind all that much either. I will say though that the themes seem pretty great, and more than a little Robocop-y. Love that. And of course, the special effects look absolutely flooring, especially that part at the end, where star Scarlett Johansson has her face popped off. Awesome.
Hard to say whether or not there’ll be another trailer, since release day is coming up in short order. If there isn’t though, well this one is kinda ‘all out’. Yes, Ghost in the Shell is finally about to hit theaters. When? March 31st.
