Sony rings in the PS4 Pro in NYC

Sony’s PS4 console revision is hitting the market in style, with a bash in the big city.

November 9th is the date, and NYC is the place. That’s where you’ll want to be if you’re pumped to grab a PS4 Pro this month, as Sony will be holding a shindig at Sony Square in the heart of Manhattan.

If you’re not familiar with Sony Square, it’s at 25 Madison Ave. It’s a ways downtown, right by Madison Square Park, which I know because I just looked it up.

In any event, things start up at 9pm on the 9th, before spilling into the 10th, which is the official release date. And yes, you are invited. There’ll be “food and beverages, games, giveaways, sweepstakes, and prizes” present at the show. Also on hand will be two escape game puzzles. These have been all the rage as of late I understand. These specific ones will be themed after The Blacklist and Timeless, so Sony Pictures TV will be represented nicely.

Oh, and you might be wondering if you will actually be able to buy a PS4 Pro. Well the answer to that is a big, fat ‘yes’. So you can be one of the first to get in on the mid-generation fun.
