The Imperium of Man stretches across the cool vastness of the void…
Still looking freaking amazing, Battlefleet Gothic: Imperium is shaping up nicely. It’s also one of the only ‘spaceship’-based real-time strategy titles that has or will hit the PC anytime soon, so it’s kind of notable just for that. Of course, it looks phenomenal as well and looks to include much of what makes the Warhammer 40k universe so much fun.
I love the massive differences in the fleets too, as the human fleet will be heavily armed, but slow. It’ll also be armored like nobody’s business, which brings that whole ramming mechanic (complete with the warp jump combos) into play. Cool sounding stuff.
We’ll have more on Battlefleet Gothic: Armada as we get closer to the game’s launch on the PC, which is set to be some time soon with a “beginning of 2016” release window.
