New Batman v Superman teaser airs during Gotham

A peek into one of the stranger looking parts of Batman v Superman aired during the mid-season finale of Gotham on Fox last night. Click through to have a look.

With many fans talking about how evil Superman looks in that sneak peek at the new trailer (which will also be hitting soon), I feel i’d be remiss if I didn’t bring up the fact that that’s probably not representational of the actual ‘reality’ in the film. The action figure of the desert, Mad Max-y version of the Dark Knight that you see there is dubbed ‘nightmare’ Batman, which of course has to lead you to assume that the scene above is taking place in some kind of, well, nightmare.

Be that as it may though, I love the Injustice feel of it all. An evil version of the Man of Steel running roughshod over the Earth, with his own police force/army in tow would give anybody in the DCU chills, and is one of the things that the comic book version of Batman has always been fearful of. With that paranoia clearly playing into the movie, it should be very interesting to see how both characters handle it-and how Lex Luthor exploits it.
