Vermintide’s launch trailer sets you against the Skaven horde

It’s the end of the world as we know it, and Warhammer’s Old World is anything but fine.

Finally hitting PCs everywhere, Warhammer End Times: Vermintide is just about here. The game is set in the Old World of Games Workshop’s fantasy tabletop RPG/wargame, and calls up the End Times scenario that recently played out in that game, a scenario that gave birth to the Age of Sigmar.

What exactly the narrative of the new game from FatShark and Focus Home plays into is still something of a mystery, though with that kind of lore behind it, it’s probably going to get a little rough. Though as the cinematic trailer above, from the team at Swedish visual effects and animation production studio Bläck shows, you will have a little help on your way to vanquishing your foes. Well, that and a little old fashioned fire and flame.
