BioShock might be getting an HD makeover for modern consoles

A retailer listing might mean that we’re in for a revamped BioShock Collection some time down the line.

Well I’m a huge, massive fan of the BioShock series (yes, all of them), so I hope this is on the money. It certainly looks like it is, as retailer slip-ups usually lead to pretty accurate info. And if that’s the case here too, then there’s a BioShock Collection in the future.

Although there’s no new game on the horizon post-BioShock Infinite (that we know of), South African retailer Raru has posted a listing for The BioShock Collection. Listed for both the PS4 and Xbox One, the Collection has no additional info posted, though I imagine that it’d definitely include the first two games (plus the DLC) and possibly the aforementioned Infinite too.

It’s also unclear as to whether the games would get visual upgrades, though that seems to be the norm for these kinds of collected editions, so you could probably bet on that. The release date listed for The BioShock Collection (according to the website) is set for November 27th, 2015, so if there is something to report on the matter, I’d imagine that we’ll be hearing something out of publisher 2K very soon now.
