Somehow we missed that the Summer Sale on GOG.com has kicked off. Our wallets got a two day reprieve.
Oh Summer Sale time, how much we love you, and our bank accounts hate you. Also, now that I think about it, our backlogs probably don’t care to much for you either. Who cares though, right?! Indeed, because it’s time once again to buy a bunch of games that you’ll probably never get to!
And as usual, this latest Sale on GOG.com has an interesting twist. This year, and I think this might be a first for the retailer, GOG is giving away a trio of games. It’ll all depend on how much cash you drop at the digital, DRM-free store, but you can get a copy of Sim City 2000 (spend $1 USD), Stalker: Clear Sky (spend $20 USD), or Xenonauts (spend $50 USD), all on the house if you hit the marks.
That’s not all of course, as new deals will go live every 12 hours on the site, and you can expect about 100 games to be discounted every day. And that means that the grand total of sale titles will actually hit 700+, which is a ton of games. These’ll be meaty sales too, with discounts going as high as 90% off the ticketed price.
So get ’em while the gettin’s good, as the GOG Summer Sale rolls up for the year on June 21st an 7:59am Eastern time.
