One More Dash (iOS) Review

The new offering  by SMG studio is a survival game where you dash between connected circles. Sounds easy? Well throw in rotating barriers into the mix and you have the recipe for an addicting experience.

By tapping the screen you ‘Dash’ in that direction.  By timing your moves and studying the paths available you are able to traverse the level ahead of you.  The game automatically screamed super hexagon HD when I first opened it and it was nice to see where the game had took inspiration from this and carved its own style of gameplay.  The levels are strikingly visual and pleasing on the eyes. When you fail a level you are disintegrated into hundreds of pieces, which is a visual feast for the eyes.

The music has a real arcade vibe to it and I found myself humming along after a few games. The music went well with the gameplay and complimented the art style perfectly.

This game is perfect for those who want to pick up and play for a few minutes. Its enjoyable and takes a simple mechanic and runs with it to create an addictive experience. 4/5

One More Dash is available now for both iOS and Android devices.
