So what’s on tap for that new King’s Quest game?

Sierra and The Odd Gentlemen take you behind the royal cloak to have a look at the making of a new title in the classic graphic adventure series of King’s Quest.

As adventure games go, they don’t come too much more ‘classic’ than King’s Quest. That series, along with a few others, really ignited the genre back in the late 80s/early 90s on the PC. And if you’re a gamer from that time, then you probably have more than a few good memories of the good King.

This four-part behind the scenes series from developer The Odd Gentlemen, which kicked off with The Vision above, should revive some of those positive vibes with what’ll eventually be a pretty detailed look at the upcoming reinvention. With input from both Ken and Roberta Williams, the series looks to be in good hands with the all-new Sierra and The Odd Gentlemen.

Much like the video series, King’s Quest is set to arrive in four parts as well, and will hit the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC sometime later this year with episode 1.
