The rogues of Gotham have claimed the city as their own in Batman: Arkham Knight

The newest trailer for the third entry in the Batman: Arkham series takes a villainous twist.

Is it June yet? No? Well I and a ton of other fans of the Batman wish that it was. Rocksteady’s Arkham Knight is looking nothing short of incredible with its wide-open Gotham and decidedly current-gen graphics- which is to say it’s pretty darn good looking.

This is a kind of interesting trailer too, for the sole reason that it shows off a lot more of the story behind Batman: Arkham Knight. Scarecrow takes center stage and his crew of villains are looking pretty darn impressive. I also noticed that Arkham Knight, whoever he may be, was decidedly behind Dr. Crane. What that means I don’t know, but it could be that Crane has set up the Knight as a bodyguard of sorts. It’s definitely going to be interesting to see who he finally turns out to be, though as a longtime Bat-fan, I have my suspicions already.

Batman: Arkham Knight swoops onto the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 this June the 2nd.
