Homeworld Remastered is an absolute stunner in 4K

4K? Yes, 4K. Homeworld Remastered is playable in the current high-water mark of resolution, and it’s pretty amazing.

First of all, wow is that cool. And though you might not be able to see its full glory (unless you’ve got a 4K monitor), even in more standard def’s this is a flat-out gorgeous game. Although it should also be mentioned that, if you prefer the original look of Homeworld (which is also pretty), you can have that too.

Grearbox has really done a number on this remake of the original space-based RTS. They’ve not only recreated the much-loved first two games in the series, but they’ve done so while keeping everything about those games that made PC gamers fall in love with them in the first place. And of course, it’s just so darn pretty.

The game hits personal computers this week, on February 25th, and will cost you $34.99 USD.
