Furious 7 looks like all kinds of complete insanity in first trailer

A smorgasbord of action, stunts, and explosions highlight the latest off-the-wall installment of the long running action series starring Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker.

Yep, the latest in Universal Pictures’ franchise about some fast-racing crooks turned sort-of heroes pulls no punches and looks like it’s set to deliver another round of massively overblown punches. It’s nutty, over-the-top, and completely insane… and it looks like a pretty awesome flick too. The film stars Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, and Paul Walker and kind of feels like another ‘Expendables’ with Kurt Russell in the mix too.

The release next year will mark it as one of the final films (if not the last) to star Walker, who passed away after filming most of the movie. It’s still unclear exactly how they’ll work around him being absent from presumably some pivotal scenes, but with movie-making technology being what it is these days, I’m sure there’s something very interesting indeed planned.
