Batman Arkham Knight finally has release date

We have waited in great anticipated, Rocksteady have finally announced Arkham Knight  will be released June 6th of next year.

Originally the game was due for release this Autumn, but it was announced at E3 it would be pushed back to February ’15. Obviously this was still not enough time for the developers to finalise the vast open world of the final game in Rocksteady’s Batman trilogy.

The trilogy began back in 2009 with Arkham Asylum, followed in 2011 with Arkham City, both winning the coveted game of the year. The prequel Arkham Origins, developed by WB Games Montreal, released last year showing a younger, and less brooding Batman, frankly just got us all excited for this final instalment.

Hopefully the three and a half years they have had, will have given Rocksteady a chance to do the ultimate game justice.

The new addition of a drivable Batmobile will have had some affect on the release date. An as seen in the majority of recent gameplay video’s released online, the city of Gotham is vast compared to previous games.

Still not a lot known about the plot of the game, and of course no more clues but only speculation to the true identity of the Arkham Knight.
