Microsoft’s next generation console is no longer sans pinball thanks to the recent addition of Zen’s Pinball FX 2.
The porting of the immensely popular pinball game created by developer Zen also comes with the requisite number of tables, which actually includes most of the catalog that was available on the Xbox 360. Yep, you cane get in some steelball action with all your favorite Marvel (including the brand new Guardians of the Galaxy and Deadpool tables) and Star Wars tables right now, among others.
The yet to be released The Walking Dead table (August 28th) will also be made ready for the Xbox One on day one, so if you’ve been waiting for that one, you’re in luck. As for porting tables that you already own, on the 360, you can do that too.
Basically, if a table is available to purchase on the Xbox One, and you already own it on the Xbox 360, then you’re clear to download that table at no additional cost. The process of doing this isn’t quite as simple as firing up Pinball FX 2 on the Xbox One and hitting the ‘download’ button, but it almost is. Let’s put it this way, it’s not rocket science. Hit the link here to see how to go about it.
Oh, and if you were wondering- Pinball FX 2 on the Xbox One indeed does run at 60fps and in 1080p. As usual too, tables run individually at $2.49 to $2.99 USD each with packs selling for $9.99 USD.
