Confused as to what Destiny is exactly? Developer Bungie has a special video all set for viewing that describes the game, how you can play, and all the cool stuff to do in it.
I have to say, I was in that group that had little idea as to what and how you could play Destiny. It’s pretty plane from the video above though, that while the game was designed as a co-op multiplayer experience, there ante plenty of ways to play that fit more closely within the classic FPS genre.
And of course, it just would not be the Bungie that we all know and love without a little competitive multiplayer in there for good measure.
The Destiny Alpha starts up exclusively on the PS4 tomorrow, while the console wide Beta will kick off this coming July 17th. As for the game itself, look for Destiny to hit the shelves on September 9th for the PS4/3, Xbox One/360, and PC.
