See the finer points of Watch Dogs in the new launch trailer

With the game going on sale this coming week, Ubisoft has released a story trailer for Watch_Dogs, their open-world action title.

Basically, Watch Dogs allows gamers to do pretty much anything with the integrated city of Chicago. It kind of is a weapon, sure to be the most powerful one in the game’s world as you’ll need to smartly use your hacking abilities to evade the police, stop the bad guys, and even just get cash to buy stuff in the game to keep main character Aiden’s crusade going.

Although a little of the shine has come off of Watch Dogs since it was delayed from a next-gen launch game to a mid-2014 release, it’s still looking every bit the showpiece for the PS4 and Xbox One that it did originally. One of the first real titles to take full advantage of the new console’s raw horsepower, Watch Dogs will be available for the Xbox One/360, PS4/3, and PC next Tuesday the 22nd. As for that Wii U version, it’s still out there somewhere and so far as we know, Ubisoft is still targeting a Fall release for it.
