Atlus delays Daylight, sheds some light on the final play area

Delay aside, Daylight is shaping up to be one spooktacular scarefest.

So that’s the scary, and now here’s the annoying – Daylight was originally supposed to have been hitting servers sometime very soon, but will now see release at the end of the month. So instead of an early April scare, you’ll be wetting your pants near the end of the month, on April 29th. It’s not a massive delay, that’s for sure, and it’s also a good thing that it’s getting a bump down the calendar a tad since Atlus will be putting a bit more owlish on the title. Never a bad deal.

Also pretty cool is that PS+ subscribers will be getting a little discount right off the bat. The game will be $9.99 USD instead of the usual $14.99 asking price for Plusers for the first two weeks of release. Non-PS+ PlayStation 3 gamers can even get a bit off the top as the same two weeks will see Daylight’s tag cut down to $11.99 USD, so not to shabby there either. And if you’re going the PC route, you can preorder right now through the 29th for that same PS+ discount of $9.99 USD.

Good stuff all around then, even in the face of a dastardly delay of game.
