The Walking Dead Season 2 trailer officially debuts

The wait is over as Telltale Games has unveiled a look at the hotly anticipated second season of their The Walking Dead game series.

Coming very soon eh? I’m sure fans of the game (which we pretty much all are here at BG) were looking for something a little more definite than that as a release date for All That Remains, the first episode of The Walking Dead season 2. Still though, this look at what’s to come certainly shed a little more light on what we can expect in terms of play and tone.

Unlike the first season, where you ‘played’ as Clementine’s protector Lee, you’re actually playing as the girl in question this time around. That’s a pretty bold choice for Telltale and leaves a lot of new possibilities open in terms of the narrative in season 2. Much like the inaugural season though, TWD’s season 2 will consist of five episodes that will sell in a digital format either separately or together in a bundle as a season pass. PC and Mac gamers can get a jump too as Telltale is offering 10% off the total cost of the game if you order a season pass through their own online storefront.

Also, while we don’t know the actual release date yet (Telltale says they’re working on it), we do know the first consoles that you can expect to experience the next part of the zombie apocalypse on- look for the game to be available on the the PC/Mac, iOS, PS3 and Xbox 360 from the outset.
