Wolverine and the X-Men #39 (Comics) Preview

Logan teams up with the Cyclops (bet you thought you read that wrong) to take on “an army of Sentinels” as Wolverine and the X-Men careens into the post-Battle of the Atom era’

Marvel is pleased to present your first look at Wolverine & The X-Men #39, from blockbuster writer Jason Aaron and red-hot artist Pepe Larraz! The effects of the critically acclaimed Battle of the Atom continues to send shockwaves through the mutant community. The X-Men have discovered that S.H.I.E.L.D. has secretly been amassing its own army of mutant-hunting Sentinels! Now, Wolverine must enlist the aid of an unlikely ally in his quest to shut them down once and for all – the man called Cyclops! It’s Wolverine and Cyclops vs. an army of Sentinels! And when the dust settles, who will be left standing? It all comes to a head this December in Wolverine & The X-Men #39!

The party just doesn’t stop for the X-Men who’ve seemingly been on the ropes in one way or another for years now. Here we are in the wake of the X-changing events of AvX and Battle of the Atom and both Cyclops, who’s not exactly a welcome guy at the moment, and Wolverine have to team-up to take on a whole mess of the menacing, mutant-hunting Sentinels.

Wolverine and the X-Men, as a book, should start winding up soon as Logan will be heading into his own solo-comic once again, so these are to be savored while they last- at least the book is going out with a bang under the talents of writer Jason Aaron and the awesome pencils of Pepe Larraz.

Check out Wolverine and the X-Men #39 when it lands on the racks on December 11th, only form Marvel Comics.
