Gamescom: Yo-ho! It’s a new Assassin’s Creed IV trailer

Ubisoft has released a brand new trailer for the very impressive looking Assassin’s Creed IV at the Gamescom trade show that’s currently running in Europe. It’s a pirates life for Edward Kenway.

Every time I see this game, it looks better. As a longtime fan of the franchise myself, I love the way that ACIV looks and acts completely different than the earlier games. Sure you still get to dress in the familiar Assassin’s garb, but Edward looks less like a member of the guild that any series hero before him. He doesn’t look like he acts all that much like one of them either.

And that ‘Defy the Creed’ slogan… very interesting.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag launches this October the 29th in the US for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC with Xbox One and PS4 versions arriving soon after.
