PS4 playable at Eurogamer Expo

Get your hands on Sony’s next-gen machine at what’s shaping up to be the biggest Eurogamer Expo ever.

Gamer Network and Virgin Media have officially announced that the PlayStation 4 will be playable on the show floor at the upcoming Eurogamer Expo in the UK. So basically, look for a really (really) long line and at the end you’ll find some PS4’s that you can get all ‘hands on’ with.

The as of yet unreleased console from Sony is scheduled to be just one part of what’s looking like a monster of a show for game fans though as a ton of this Fall/Holiday’s huge games are checked off to be shown or be playable. Further, the expected 70,000 players who attend the event can also expect to be treated to a series of tournaments, developer sessions, a very cool sounding retro game zone (loaded with pinball tables!) and plenty of retail stands when the Eurogamer Expo opens up in Earls Court, London.

In addition to all that, if you’re heading to the show you’ll also get the chance to try out the impressive Oculus Rift VR headset, play some games in the Sega Indie Arcade and visit the Rezzed area (I said it was a big show this year). That section of the Expo will work like a mini-version of the Rezzed show and will have its own lineup of titles on display.
