Preview: Nova #6

The newest member of the Nova corps gets a trial by fire from none other than the cosmic being known as the Watcher!

Marvel is pleased to present your first look at Nova #3, from the critically acclaimed creative team of writer Jeph Loeb and artist Ed McGuinness! This April, Sam Alexander – now donning the Nova helmet – learns first-hand what it takes to be one of the Universe’s greatest protectors..from the Watcher! And with the Guardians of The Galaxy’s Gamora and Rocket Raccoon, he’ll be in great hands…right?

I’ve never been much of a Nova fan, but Ed McGuiness’ artwork is swaying my interest big time. McGuiness’ cartoony style is a personal favorite of mine and is a real stand-out in the current world of comics where everything tends to lean more towards the ‘realistic’ side of things.

Nova isn’t exactly light in the script area either as Jeph Loeb is the writer on the book. That’s a very solid creative team (to put it mildly) behind one of Marvel Comics’ newest ‘cosmic’ comics.

Check out Nova #3 when it hits stands on April 17th.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
