Dying Light is getting free DLC

Techland has announced some DLC freebies for the newly released, Dying Light.

Dying Light is getting a new Hard Mode, in which the zombies will be a lot more difficult.

The zombie survival game from Techland, Dying Light, is receiving a couple of new updates. Sometime between now and the end of March, Dying Light will be receiving a new gameplay mode called, Hard Mode. It seems the development team at Techland is listening to the community of gamers who are asking for an increase in difficulty.

”A few gamers have already finished Dying Light and are asking for more. So we’re going to give our community a new challenge that will put everything they learnt in the game to the test. Hard Mode is exactly that. We’re aiming to have it out around the start of March, if not sooner. Depends on how brutal we wanna make this on people,” Tymon Smektała said, a producer with Techland.

Here are some of the features that will be making their way into Hard Mode. Players can expect an increase in difficulty during the nighttime gameplay. Zombies and other foes will be faster, stronger and smarter. Resources and supplies will be scarce so there will be an emphasis on stealth play. Additional details will be made closer to update.

Along with improvements to gameplay mechanics, gamers will also receive a few new costumes for their characters. Make sure to check out Brutal Gamer’s review on Dying Light, here.
