Castlevania: Lords of Shadow finally making its way to PC

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow gets Ultimate for its PC release.

There have been many rumours of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow finally getting a PC release since March, when a registry for the game was found on Steam, now it has finally been announced by Konami that its “Ultimate Edition” will be getting a digital release date of August 27 on Steam and a physical release on August 30.

The Ultimate Edition will be able to run at 60 frames per second in 1080p via recommended spec, trophy integration will be available through Steam, and also includes two dlc chapters, Reverie and Resurrection. Recommended spec for the game can be found on the Steam page.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was originally released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010, and unjustly received a bit of criticism for being a God of War “clone” by quiet a few. I personally enjoyed Lords of Shadow on the Playstation 3 and is a game I still play every now and then, as someone that has played every game in the castlevania series, I found this to be an interesting insight in to the roots of the Belmont clan.

About MrAwkwardOne

I've been a gamer since I was a child (which is going way back when) the very first console I owned was the Sega Master System, during my time as a gamer I have pretty much come across nearly every console including the Bally Astrocade(which requiered cassette tapes to play games) so I have broad range of knowledge when it comes to video games. My favourite game of all time is between Shadow Hearts (a rare gem of an RPG released for the Playstation 2) and Final Fantasy VIII.
