EA and DICE’s latest game in the Battlefield franchise is more story-centric than ever before. The game starts off with the evacuation of American VIP’s from Shanghai and doesn’t look to let up.
I haven’t played a Battlefield title since Bad Company, but B4 certainly feels more cinematic than any one in recent memory. One of the biggest goals of the team at DICE for the game was to make you care more about the characters and actually have some impactful moments in the campaign mode. From that angle, it definitely looks like they succeeded.
Battlefield 4 is set to deploy on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 29th with next generation editions arriving next month.
